Welcome to VeeCard! This guide will walk you through the simple process of getting your digital loyalty cards into your customers' wallets.
Before you can issue cards, you must have a published card design.
Once a card design is published, it becomes Active.
It is automatically sent to both Google Wallet and Apple Wallet.
Your customers can now instantly get their cards using the methods below.
You can access all these issuing methods from your VeeCard dashboard:
Navigate to: Card Design Dashboard → Modify Tab → SHARE
Here are the five ways to share your card:
What it is: A QR code is automatically generated and displayed on your VeeCard app's home page after you publish a card design.
How to use: You open the VeeCard App on your in-store device and show your customers the QR Code on the home page. They can then scan it using their iPhone or Android camera to add the card directly to their wallet.
What it is: A downloadable QR code perfect for print and digital media.
How to use:
Print and display the flyer in your shop window or on counters.
Use the QR code on posters, menus, or even on cups.
Share the image on your social media channels or in emails for easy online access.
What it is: A versatile QR code designed for stickers or badges.
How to use:
Print it as a sticker for your staff to wear.
Place it at checkout counters or point-of-sale terminals for quick, convenient scanning.
What it is: A unique link to your digital loyalty card.
How to use: Copy the link and paste it into your marketing or transactional emails. Customers can click the link from their mobile phone to get their card.
Pro Tip: For even better results, incorporate the Flyer QR Code image directly into your email. When customers open the email on a desktop, they can easily scan the QR code with their mobile phone.
What it is: The same unique link, optimized for messaging.
How to use: Copy the link and send it directly to your customers via SMS. A single click will allow them to add the card to their wallet.
What it is: Create and manage digital loyalty cards for customers who forget their phones or prefer not to use a smartphone for loyalty programs.
How to use: From the app home screen, click "Search customer," then tap the "+" button to manually add a new customer and create their card. You can then manage all stamping and redeem rewards directly from your staff app, with no need for the customer to be present or scan their phone.
How customers claim their card: When customers are ready to manage their card on their own phone, they can scan the card's unique QR code. This instantly saves the card and all its existing stamps to their phone's digital wallet. From that point on, it functions as a standard digital loyalty card.
Whether a customer scans a QR code or clicks a link, here is what they will experience:
A browser window will open.
Instead of a long form, customers see a One Tap Sign-up option.
They can sign up with their Google or Apple account with a single click.
Their name and email from that account will be used to create their card.
If you have requested additional information in your card design (e.g., full name, phone number, a non-private email), a pop-up form will appear.
Customers can choose to fill this out or simply ignore it and proceed.
This is a crucial step! After registration, a new card will be displayed in the browser.
The customer must click the "Save to Google Wallet" or "Save to Apple Wallet" button.
A final confirmation pop-up will appear; they must click "Save".
Pro Tip: Encourage customers to open their Wallet app immediately to confirm the card is there. Guide them to view the card details, where they can find your business info, map navigation, phone number, and social media links.
For the seamless One-Tap Sign-up to work, a compatible browser is essential.
Recommended Browsers: Safari
(on iPhone) or Chrome
(on Android and iPhone).
Potential Issues: If customers use other browsers (e.g., Samsung Internet, Firefox), they may:
Be forced to fill out a manual registration form.
Be unable to load the card into Apple Wallet.
Troubleshooting: If a customer has trouble, please ask them to try again using Safari or Chrome.
