User Manual: Instant Rewards

The Instant Rewards feature gives you, the merchant, maximum flexibility to offer bonuses and incentives to your clients at any time, independent of their point balance. This is perfect for exceptional customer service, handling complaints, celebrating special occasions, or promoting new products.

For example, you can instantly grant a client a free cup of coffee or two trial products, which will be attached to their card and recorded in your reports.

1. Eligibility: Which Cards Can Receive Instant Rewards?

Instant Rewards are versatile and can be used with almost all active card designs. This feature is available for all published card designs.

Unlike Points Redemption, there is no requirement for the card to collect stamps or have specific configurations. If the card is active and published, it is eligible.

2. How to Configure Instant Rewards

Before you can grant a reward, you must define what rewards are available. These are typically standard gestures of goodwill or promotional items you frequently offer.

  1. Navigate to the main menu and select Business.
  2. Click on Instant Rewards.
  3. On this page, you will see a list of your existing rewards. From here, you can:
    • Create a new reward.
    • Edit an existing reward (e.g., change the description).
    • Delete a reward you no longer offer.

Creating/Editing an Instant Reward

On the Instant Reward Edit page, the configuration is simple:

  • Number of Rewards: Enter the quantity of items the customer receives.
    • This field is set to 1 by default, meaning one instance of the reward grants one item.
    • Example: To offer "two trial products," you would enter 2 in this field.
  • Reward Description: Enter a clear description of what the customer receives. This text will be visible to your staff during the transaction and will appear in reports.
    • Example: "A cup of coffee," "Birthday Dessert," "Trial Product."

3. How to Grant an Instant Reward to a Client

Once your rewards are configured, granting them to a client is a quick process.

Follow these steps:

  1. Scan the Client's Card: Use your scanner or manually enter the card details to bring up the customer's profile.
  2. Go to the Stamp and Reward Page: This is the main page displaying the customer's card and information.
  3. Access the Menu: Look for the "More" button ( ⋮ ) located in the top-right corner of the page. Click it.
  4. Select "Instant Reward": From the dropdown menu, choose the "Instant Reward" option.
  5. Choose a Reward: An "Instant Reward" pop-up window will appear, displaying all the rewards you have configured. Select the appropriate reward (e.g., "Birthday Dessert").
  6. Confirm: Review the details and click confirm.

What Happens After Confirmation?

Once you confirm the grant:

  • The reward is immediately attached to the client's card.
  • The transaction is recorded in the report for your records and tracking purposes.
