Welcome to Day 2 of your VeeCard journey.
Yesterday, you chose your loyalty goal and selected the VeeCard card design that fits your nail salon.
Today, it's time to design and publish your nail salon loyalty program, test the experience, and get your staff ready to introduce it to customers.
If you've used a traditional paper stamp card before, you can think of VeeCard as digitizing that familiar experience—but with a few important differences that give you more flexibility.
Don't worry about making everything perfect today. Your card's appearance and some settings can be changed later as you learn what works best for your salon.
Today, you'll:
Customize your card's appearance
Publish your card and get your QR code
Understand how completed stamp cards work
Test the customer experience
Engage and prepare your staff
Get ready to promote your program

Your loyalty card is part of your customer experience.
Take a moment to customize its appearance so it feels like it belongs to your nail salon.
Think about your existing branding:
Salon logo
Brand colors
Typography
Overall style
Elegant, modern, playful, or minimalist look
The goal isn't to create a complicated design.
The goal is for a customer to see the card and immediately think:
"This is my salon's loyalty card."
One of the advantages of a digital card is that you can change its appearance later.
You don't have to spend hours trying to create the perfect design before launching.
Start with a look that represents your salon today.
As your brand evolves—or as you learn what your customers like—you can update the card design later.
Once you're happy with the basic appearance and loyalty rules, it's time to publish your card design.

Publishing is an important step.
After you publish:
Your card design becomes active
A QR code is generated
Customers can use the QR code to join your loyalty program
Think of the QR code as the bridge between your physical salon and your digital loyalty program.
A customer sees your QR code, scans it with their phone, and can start their loyalty journey.

It's simple—and that's exactly what you want.

If your salon already uses paper stamp cards, VeeCard will feel familiar.
The basic idea is the same:
Visit → Earn a stamp → Collect stamps → Get a reward
But digital cards give you more flexibility.
One important difference is what happens when a customer completes their stamp card.
In VeeCard, you can control what happens when a customer reaches the end of their stamp card.
Go to:
Cards → Modify → More Options
You'll find the Reset Stamp Count option.
It is off by default.
There are two ways to handle a completed card.
This is the default VeeCard behavior.
When the customer's card is fully stamped:
A new card is created automatically
The customer's loyalty history continues
Their stamps and rewards are carried over
This means the customer doesn't simply "start over."
Their progress and rewards can continue with their new card.
It's a good choice if you want the digital experience to feel like an ongoing loyalty relationship rather than a series of disconnected paper cards.
The customer can continue accumulating loyalty progress over time.
If you want VeeCard to behave more like a traditional paper stamp card, turn Reset Stamp Count on.
When the card is fully stamped:
A new card is created automatically
The new card's stamp count starts at 0
The customer begins a new stamp cycle
Their rewards are still carried over
This gives you the familiar paper-card experience:
Complete one card → receive your reward → start a new card
while still keeping the benefits of a digital loyalty program.
There isn't one right answer.
If you want the experience to closely resemble your existing paper stamp card, turn Reset Stamp Count on.
If you want customers to have continuous loyalty progress across cards, you can leave it off, which is the default.
You can choose the approach that best fits your loyalty strategy.
Now that your card is published, don't immediately put the QR code on your checkout counter.
Try it yourself first.
Take out your phone and scan your own QR code.
Experience the program exactly as a customer would.
Ask yourself:
Is the QR code easy to scan?
Is the joining process clear?
Does the card look like my salon?
Is the loyalty offer easy to understand?
Can I save the card easily?
Complete a test transaction or visit and make sure the appropriate stamp or progress is added.
Ask:
Can my staff do this quickly while serving a customer?
The loyalty process should fit naturally into the checkout or service flow.
If possible, test what happens when a customer reaches the reward.
Make sure you and your staff understand:
When the reward becomes available
What the customer sees
How staff recognize the reward
How the reward is redeemed
You want your first real customer to have a smooth experience.
Technology alone doesn't make a loyalty program successful.
Your staff do.
For many nail salons, staff are the people who interact with customers throughout the entire visit. They are often the ones who will introduce the program, remind customers to scan the QR code, and help them understand their rewards.
That's why staff engagement is just as important as setting up the card.
Your team doesn't need to know every VeeCard feature.
They need to understand the basics:
What is the program?
"Our loyalty program lets you earn rewards when you visit us."
How does a customer join?
"Scan this QR code to get your digital loyalty card."
How does the customer earn?
Your staff should know exactly when and how to add the appropriate loyalty progress.
What happens when the customer earns a reward?
Staff should know how to recognize and redeem it.
Don't make your team memorize a sales pitch.
Keep it natural.
At checkout, a staff member might say:
"Would you like to join our loyalty program? Just scan this QR code and you can save your loyalty card to your phone."
After the customer joins:
"You'll earn a stamp with each visit. Once you collect enough stamps, you'll receive your reward."
That's enough.
The goal is to make loyalty part of the normal customer experience.
Sometimes training isn't enough.
Your staff may understand how the program works but still forget to mention it to customers—especially during a busy day.
That's why a little internal motivation can make a big difference.
Consider setting a simple team goal.
For example:
"Let's get our first 50 loyalty members this month."
Or:
"Let's make sure every eligible customer is offered the loyalty program."
You could also recognize staff members who do a great job introducing the program.
The motivation doesn't have to be expensive.
It could be:
A small team reward
Recognition at a staff meeting
A friendly team competition
A personal thank-you from the owner
A target everyone works toward together
The important thing is to make your staff feel:
"We're building this together."
When staff understand why the program matters—and feel involved in its success—they're more likely to consistently introduce it to customers.
At this point, you may notice that VeeCard has many other features you could explore.
For example:
Welcome Stamps
Instant Rewards
Birthday Rewards
Referral Rewards
Scratch Cards
Auto-Stamp
Other engagement features
You don't need to configure everything today.
Your first goal is to get the core loyalty experience working:
Customer joins → receives card → earns progress → gets reward
Once your staff and customers are comfortable with that experience, you can gradually introduce additional features.
This makes the learning process easier for everyone.
Before moving to Day 3, make sure you have completed the essentials:
Customize your card's appearance to match your salon.
Publish your card design.
Confirm that your card is active.
Find your generated QR code.
Decide whether Reset Stamp Count should be on or off.
Scan the QR code yourself.
Join the program as a test customer.
Save and view the digital card.
Test earning loyalty progress.
Test the reward process.
Explain the program to your staff.
Make sure staff know how customers join and earn rewards.
Give your team a simple goal or motivation to help promote the program.
You don't need every box to be perfect before moving forward.
If something needs more time, that's okay.
The purpose of Day 2 is to make sure your digital card, customer experience, and team are ready.
Today, your main task is:
Publish your digital loyalty card and make sure your team is ready to use it.
Don't just look at the settings.
Use the program.
Scan the QR code.
Join the program.
Save the card.
Earn loyalty progress.
Test the reward.
Then ask a staff member to try it too.
When both you and your team feel comfortable with the experience, you're ready to introduce it to customers.
You now have:
A published digital loyalty card
A QR code for customers to join
A tested loyalty experience
Staff who understand the basic process
A team ready to introduce the program
But your loyalty program won't grow if customers don't know it exists.
Tomorrow, we'll take your loyalty program from "ready to use" to "visible to customers."
You'll learn how to:
Prepare your loyalty flyer
Put it around your checkout counter
Make the QR code easy to discover
Introduce the program naturally during checkout
Share the flyer on social media
Tomorrow: Day 3 — Get Your Customers to Join.
Your loyalty program is more than a digital card. It's a customer experience shared by your salon and your team.
Design a card that feels like your brand, publish it, test it from the customer's perspective, and get your staff involved.
