Thanks to our Push Notification feature, you can send updates, promotions, and reminders directly to your customers through Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
When your customers add your digital loyalty card to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, you can send them messages even after they leave your store.
These push notifications appear directly on their phones, helping you reach them instantly — no app required.
Notification messages appear directly on the lock screen and in the notification center.
The same message is also displayed in the card’s details section inside the Wallet app.
Apple may throttle delivery to prevent excessive messaging.
On the lock screen, Google Wallet shows a generic message:
“New message.”
When customers tap the notification, they can read the full message in the card details within Google Wallet.
Google may also limit message delivery frequency to protect user experience.

Before sending notifications, please keep these in mind:
Platform Throttling
Both Apple and Google may delay or restrict message delivery if too many notifications are sent in a short time.
Customer Control
Users can turn off notifications or remove your loyalty card if they feel messages are irrelevant or intrusive. Always prioritize relevance and timing.
Message Length Limit
The notification message should be no longer than 90 characters, or it might not be fully visible on the lock screen.
Include a Date in Your Message
Since Wallet cards don’t show when a message was sent, it’s best to include the effective date in your promo (e.g., “20% off this weekend, Oct 20–21”).
Respect Frequency
Send no more than 1–2 messages per week to keep engagement high and avoid user fatigue.
Keep your message short, clear, and dated (e.g., “Double stamps today only – Oct 21! 🎉”).
Send at strategic times, such as before lunch, on weekends, or during special events.
Use action-driven language — “Visit now,” “Claim your reward,” or “Show this card today.”
Align messages with your loyalty strategy — reward milestones, exclusive offers, or new arrivals.
Always test your message visibility on both Apple and Google Wallet before sending.
