Welcome to Day 3 of your VeeCard journey.
Your digital loyalty card is now published. Your QR code is ready. Your staff know how the program works.
Now it's time to take the next step:
Get your customers to join.
A loyalty program only creates value when customers actually use it. The good news is that you don't need a complicated marketing campaign to get started.
For a nail salon, one of the best places to introduce your nail salon loyalty program is right where customers already interact with you: at the checkout counter.
Today, you'll make your loyalty program visible both inside and outside your salon.
You'll:
Your checkout counter is one of the most important places to promote your digital loyalty program.
Why?
Because customers are already finishing their appointment, talking with your staff, and thinking about their next visit.
It's a natural moment to say:
"Would you like to join our loyalty program?"
Your flyer gives customers a simple way to join immediately.
They scan the QR code and follow the joining process.
Your flyer doesn't need to explain every detail of your loyalty program.
It should answer one basic question:
"Why should I scan this QR code?"
For example:
Join Our Loyalty Program
Earn rewards every time you visit.
Scan to join.
Or, if you have a specific reward:
Collect 5 Stamps → Get a Free Nail-Art Upgrade
Scan to join.
The goal is to catch attention and encourage the customer to take the next step.
Start with your checkout counter.
Place the flyer somewhere customers can easily see while they're:
You can also place the flyer in other parts of the salon:
You don't need a flyer everywhere.
Choose a few high-visibility locations.
Your goal is:
Make the loyalty program easy to discover without making the salon feel like an advertising space.
Your flyer gets attention.
Your staff turn that attention into action.
A customer may see the QR code but never scan it unless someone gives them a reason.
That's why a simple staff introduction can make a big difference.
At checkout, your staff could say:
"Would you like to join our loyalty program? You can scan this QR code and save your loyalty card to your phone."
If the customer asks what they receive, staff can explain the reward in one sentence.
For example:
"You'll earn one stamp with each visit, and after five stamps you'll receive your reward."
That's all that's needed.
No long explanation.
No sales pitch.
Just a simple invitation.
One of the easiest ways to make sure staff remember the loyalty program is to connect it to something they already do.
For example:
Customer finishes service
↓
Staff processes payment
↓
Staff mentions loyalty program
↓
Customer scans QR code
↓
Customer joins
This makes loyalty part of the normal checkout process rather than an extra task staff have to remember.
You can also create a simple internal rule:
Every eligible customer gets an invitation to join.
The goal isn't to pressure customers.
It's simply to make sure everyone gets the opportunity.
Customers are more likely to act when the benefit is clear.
Your loyalty program already provides a long-term reward, but you can make the value immediately visible.
For example:
Start earning your first stamp today.
Collect 5 stamps and get a free nail-art upgrade.
If you've enabled a welcome reward:
Join today and receive a welcome stamp.
Use the message that matches your actual VeeCard program.
The important thing is to communicate the benefit clearly.
Your customers don't only interact with your salon when they're inside the building.
You can also introduce your loyalty program through your social media channels.
The same flyer you use in your salon can also be shared digitally.
Consider posting it on:
For example:
Our Loyalty Program is here! 💅
Earn rewards when you visit us.
Scan the QR code to join and start earning today.
Then share your loyalty flyer or QR code.
You don't need to create a complicated campaign.
A clear message and an easy way to join are enough to get started.
You don't need to build a new audience just to promote your loyalty program.
Start with the people who already follow your salon.
Your followers may include:
A loyalty announcement can remind previous customers that you want to see them again.
It can also give new customers another reason to choose your salon.
Think of your loyalty program as having multiple entry points.
Flyer → QR code → Join
Staff invitation → QR code → Join
Post → QR code/link → Join
The more naturally your loyalty program appears in the customer's journey, the more opportunities you create for people to join.
But remember:
Visibility is more important than volume.
You don't need to promote the program everywhere at once.
Start with the places where your customers are already paying attention.
Even with a flyer at checkout, staff may forget to mention the program when the salon gets busy.
This is normal.
That's why Day 2 emphasized staff engagement.
Consider setting a small team goal for the first few weeks.
For example:
"Let's get our first 50 loyalty members."
Or:
"Let's make sure every eligible customer gets an invitation."
You can track the progress as a team and celebrate when you reach your goal.
This doesn't have to become a complicated competition.
The purpose is simply to help the team build a habit.
Not every customer will scan your QR code.
That's okay.
Some customers may:
Don't pressure them.
A simple invitation is enough.
The goal is to create an easy opportunity for customers who want to participate.
Over time, as more customers join and begin receiving rewards, your loyalty program can become a familiar part of your salon experience.
Before you finish Day 3, make sure you've covered the basics:
You don't need to do everything perfectly.
The most important thing is to start making your loyalty program visible.
Today's main task is:
Put your loyalty program in front of your customers—and then give it time to work.
Start with your checkout counter.
Place your flyer where customers can see it.
Make the loyalty program part of your normal checkout conversation.
Share it with your social media audience.
Then, for the next week, focus on running the program rather than constantly changing it.
Invite customers.
Watch what happens.
Listen to your staff.
Learn from real interactions.
You don't need to have all the answers yet.
You've now completed the setup and launch phase:
Day 1 — Decide
You chose your loyalty goal and card model.
Day 2 — Launch
You designed and published your card, tested it, and prepared your staff.
Day 3 — Promote
You put your QR code in front of customers and started inviting them to join.
For the next week, let your loyalty program become part of your normal salon routine.
There is no need to finish everything in five days.
Your first week is about building the habit and collecting real customer experience.
After you've had some time to engage customers, your next guide will help you take a closer look.
After about a week of real customer engagement, we'll look at:
Launch your loyalty program, make it visible, and give it time to become part of your salon's daily routine.
Don't worry about perfect results this week.
Invite. Observe. Listen. Learn.
We'll use what you discover to make your loyalty program better.
Your next guide: Day 10 — Learn & Improve.
